A spectacular evening of holiday entertainment for the whole family benefiting . . .

Carols by Candlelight was created in 1990 by Steve Vaus and Wayne Nelson, with the goal of making a life-changing difference in the lives of children. Originally a free concert at Horton Plaza, the event eventually outgrew that location, moving to the Poway Center for the Performing Arts and ultimately to it's current home, the California Center for the Arts, Escondido.

Artists such as Billy Ray Cyrus, Kenny Loggins, Lee Anne Womack, America, Sara Evans, Steve Wariner, Little River Band, the Commodores, Joe Diffie, Stephen Bishop, Kim Carnes and many more have entertained Carols audiences over the years, and  helped raise much-needed funds for San Diego charities that serve children.
